Travis Etienne Jr. Expected To Be Lead Back
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is likely to be the lead back for the team to begin the season. The second-year back has looked fairly solid during training camp. It sounds like the team wants to use Etienne as a runner, pass catcher, and even have him play some receiver. The expectation is that James Robinson will take away some of Etienne's carries once he's fully healthy. Although, these are two different style backs, so Jacksonville should be able to find a way to get both of them involved. Right now, it sounds like Etienne is a strong option in PPR formats to start the season. The 23-year-old should be able to stay involved even with Robinson on the field.
