Travis Etienne Jr. Headed For Uncertain Workload In Week 1
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is scheduled to kick off the 2022 season against the Washington Commanders on the road. The second-year back out of Clemson is making his first NFL appearance after suffering a season-ending foot injury as a rookie in 2021. The Jaguars have revealed that James Robinson is one-hundred percent healthy and will be active in Week 1 versus the Commanders. It remains to be seen how Jacksonville plans on divvying up touches between Robinson and Etienne when they are both active. Until we get a better look at how the backfield touches shake out, Etienne should be considered an RB2 in PPR formats and a flex option in other formats due to his assumed usage in the passing game.
