Travis Etienne Jr. Quiet In Preseason Loss On Saturday
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. concluded Saturday night's preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers with 29 rushing yards on eight attempts. Doug Pederson elected to have Jacksonville's starters play the majority of the first half, with the second-year back being replaced by Snoop Conner in the second quarter. The Jaguars are gradually giving more reps to Etienne as he returns from a Lisfranc injury that sidelined him for his rookie campaign in 2021. James Robinson was inactive for Jacksonville on Saturday night, though, he's expected to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Etienne remains a solid running back to target in PPR leagues despite having to share the backfield workload with Robinson.
