Travis Homer Has Been Explosive
2 years agoWith Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (hernia) sidelined, Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas have run the ball well in training camp. Homer has been particularly explosive, which may mean a running-back-by-committee situation for the Seahawks to begin the regular season. Homer has proven more effective as a runner and pass-blocker than Dallas, so he should get the nod as Rashaad Penny's primary backup to begin the year if Walker isn't ready. Although it's not what Penny's fantasy managers want to hear, a committee approach could be the wise move given Penny's extensive injury history. Penny is still the most attractive fantasy RB in Seattle's backfield, but his inability to stay healthy makes him more of an RB3/flex in upcoming fantasy drafts.
