Travis Jankowski Drives In Four Versus Marlins
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Travis Jankowski went 3-for-3 with four RBI in a win over the Marlins on Friday. Jankowski got the Phillies on the board in the first inning with a two-out, bases-loaded double to put the home team up early. The veteran outfielder would also drive in a run with a single to post a four-RBI day; he only had three RBI coming into the game. Across 30 games, Jankowski is slashing a healthy .350/.469/.500 with a homer, 10 runs, seven RBI, and three steals. He's striking out only 14 percent of the time and has a strong 18 percent walk rate. With Odubel Herrera (ankle) on the injured list, there is a path to playing time for Jankowski in the Philly outfield. Deep-league fantasy managers in need of outfield help can take a shot on Jankowski staying hot.
