7 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Travis Jankowski is not in the lineup Monday against the Washington Nationals. Jankowski is just getting a rest day with left-handed starter Gio Gonzalez on the mound. Outfielder Matt Szczur will get the start in left field. Jankowski has been a spark batting leadoff for the Padres, slashing .359/.438/.469 with 11 runs scored in 73 plate appearances. He's also 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts. Jankowski is a valuable fantasy asset for steals as long as he keeps playing regularly. Expect him back in the lineup Tuesday.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
