4 years agoToronto Blue Jays corner infielder Travis Shaw cranked a three-run tater during the team’s 8-7 extra-inning win over the Orioles on Tuesday. It was his third long ball of the season as he finished the night going 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. Shaw has held down the third spot in the batting order this season, where it’s prime real estate for his counting stats to climb. He hasn’t quite taken advantage of the opportunity yet with a .250 BA and worrisome 34.0% K-rate for the year, but his bat is starting to pick up steam after missing some time earlier this month.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
