3 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder Travis Shaw delivered the biggest hit of the day Monday, launching a walk-off grand slam over the right-center field fence to give the Red Sox an 8-4 win in 11 innings over the Texas Rangers. It was Shaw's only hit in two at-bats after coming on partway through the contest. Shaw seems to be in a time-share at first base with Bobby Dalbec, but his playing time figures to shrink further when Kyle Schwarber is comfortable enough to play the position.
