5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw is on the bench versus left-hander Steven Brault in Sunday's game against the Pirates. He's 3-for-12 with four strikeouts since his return from the IL earlier this week, and he figures to sit often against southpaws until he gets the bat going. It's been a disappointing year for Shaw batting .170 on the year with four homers and an enlarged 31.8% K% in 44 games. It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old can bounce back, but the Brewers have plenty of infield options if they decide to minimize his role. Mike Moustakas will move over to third for today's game while Hernan Perez will slide into the second base position.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
