Travis Shaw Quietly Having Good Season
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw went 1-for-2 with a run, an RBI and three walks in the 12-3 win over the Miami Marlins. Despite not tearing the cover off the ball for home runs like he usually does, Shaw has been quietly having a solid season. With the three walks on Thursday, he now brings his on-base percentage up to .345. His .267 batting average is also quite solid for the power hitter that he is, but his .427 slugging percentage could use some work. As the weather heats up, Shaw will most likely as well, and the home runs and doubles are sure to fly. Shaw should be owned in all formats.
