3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Trea Turner (COVID-19) has been activated from the COVID-19 injured list and is available off the bench on Friday night, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. Turner was acquired by the Dodgers at the trade deadline, but has been out of action after testing positive for COVID-19 at the end of July. Over 96 games this season, Turner is slashing .322/.369/.521 with 18 home runs, 21 steals, 49 RBI and 66 runs scored. He should see a potential boost in value with the Dodgers, and reports earlier in the day on Friday say he will be taking over primarily at second base.
