6 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner (finger) could return as soon as four to six weeks, according to Brittany Ghiroli of The Athletic. Turner was hit in the hand by a pitch on a bunt attempt last Tuesday, forcing the Nationals to put him on the injured list. In his absence, Wilmer Difo has filled in at shortstop and been solid, recording four hits, including a home run with four runs batted in. Turner will likely go through a rehab assignment before returning to the team.
