Trea Turner Finishes 1-for-4 Friday, Extends Hitting Streak to 13 Games
7 years agoNationals shortstop Trea Turner had one of the team's two hits in the Friday night loss to the Braves, finishinng 1-for-4 with a strikeout. It was a lackluster performance, but it did extend his hitting streak to a now career-high 13 games. During this streak, Turner is hitting .281 with four doubles, a home run and three stolen bases. Turner has six home runs and 16 steals over 56 games, and assuming no injuries he is poised for a breakout season.
