Trea Turner Sitting For First Time This Season
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Trea Turner isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the San Diego Padres, marking the first time this season that Turner won't start for the Dodgers. It is a bit surprising that they'd sit the star shortstop against a division rival, but the Dodgers have had the top seed locked up for a while now, and might just be giving their regulars some time off. Turner has been tremendous at the dish again this season, slashing
.306/.351/.478 with 82 runs, 86 RBI, 18 homers, and 22 steals. He is the best five-category contributor in fantasy baseball. Expect Turner to return to the lineup Saturday, barring any injury news.
