Trea Turner Slams Nationals to Playoffs
5 years agoDown 4-2 in the sixth inning of a split doubleheader, Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner hit a grand slam to put the Nationals up for good in a game they would eventually win 6-5. The win clinched the wild card for Washington who will make their first postseason appearance since 2017. Turner now has 18 home runs on the year, with 55 RBI, 94 runs scored, and 34 stolen bases in 551 plate appearances.
