Trea Turner Walks It Off for Nationals
5 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner hit a no-out, two-run walk-off home run against Chicago White Sox closer Alex Colome for a 6-4 win on Wednesday. Turner had struck out three times previously and ended the game 1-for-5. It was his third home run of the season and first since coming off of the injured list on May 17. Turner is now hitting .263/.307/.453 on the season and is also 8-for-8 stealing bases. It was only a matter of time before Turner hit another home run after setting a career high with 19 last season. Turner should be a top fantasy shortstop going forward despite his relative struggles coming back from injury.
