4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and walk in Monday’s victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Grisham crushed a first inning offering from Dodgers starter Walker Buehler into the stands to start the Friars scoring. He later singled but was thrown out trying to stretch his knock to a two-bagger. The 23-year-old has performed phenomenally after 49 plate appearances, slashing .293/.396/.683 and leading the squad with four long balls while collecting 18 runs-plus-RBI and two steals. Batting in the cushy No. 2 spot, Grisham is deservedly earning buzz in mixed leagues of all sizes in his first season as a full-time player.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
