Trent Grisham Not Starting Saturday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham isn't starting on Saturday. The Padres will take on the Los Angeles Angels and left-handed starter Jose Suarez but will do so with Grisham on the bench. The outfielder is batting .254 with a .345 on-base percentage in 409 plate appearances this season. He's also added 13 home runs and 11 stolen bases. Fernando Tatis Jr. is starting in center field in place of Grisham, with Wil Myers and Jake Marisnick starting in right field and left field, respectively. Tatis Jr. and Myers are likely rostered in most leagues, leaving Marisnick as a potential streaming option. Fantasy managers are probably best off looking elsewhere for streaming help, however. Marisnick, who is hitting eighth on Saturday, is batting .213 with a .277 on-base percentage, five home runs, and three stolen bases in 167 plate appearances this season.
