Trent Grisham Set To Miss One Week With Hamstring Strain
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham (hamstring) has been determined to have a Grade 1 left hamstring strain stemming from Thursday's Cactus League contest. The team hopes that Grisham will need to miss only a week of action due to the ailment, which gives him some leeway as it pertains to being ready for Opening Day. Prior to going down with the injury, Grisham was off to a 3-for-13 start this spring across seven games, having drawn five walks and scored five runs. San Diego has multiple options that could fill for Grisham, including Brian O'Grady, Jorge Mateo and Jurickson Profar, although any of that trio would figure to be a step down from the on-base prowess that Grisham carries. Having soared into the Top 75 of most Draft boards, fantasy managers will want to check back for updates on Grisham's status as they become available.
