3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham (heel) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso in the next couple of days. According to Padres manager Jayce Tingler, the length of Grisham's rehab assignment will depend on how he feels. The 24-year-old was placed on the injured list on May 24th with a heel bruise. Barring a setback, fantasy managers should expect to have Grisham back in their lineups by early next week. Grisham has been productive in 2021, slashing .301/.383/.515 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 23 runs scored, and seven stolen bases across 154 plate appearances. Once activated from the injured list, Grisham will return as the Padres' everyday left fielder and become a dual-threat by posting both power and speed numbers for fantasy managers the rest of the season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
