5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton allowed five hits and three earned runs, while walking four and striking out three, over six innings in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners. Thornton served up a solo home run to Austin Nola in the fourth inning but limited the damage to two sacrifice flies the rest of the way. The 25-year-old will carry a 4-8 record and 5.30 ERA into his next start and is worth streaming in deep mixed leagues when matching up against favorable opponents out of contention.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
