6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton allowed three runs on four hits through six innings of work during a 6-3 loss to the San Diego Padres. He struck out 10 batters while walking three. Thornton has produced a 1-4 record this season to go along with a 4.42 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 60/25 K/BB rate. The 25-year-old solely remains a streaming option that has high strikeout upside. Thornton will look to keep things rolling in his next projected start against the Colorado Rockies.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
