6 years agoNew York Jets running back Trenton Cannon (ankle, foot) was inactive for Thursday's preseason game against the Washington Redskins. He continues to lag behind wide receiver Andre Roberts in the competition for both the kickoff return and punt return competitions. If Cannon is going to make the 53-man roster, he is going to have to be a monster on special teams. He isn't likely to make much of an impact, at least initially, in a backfield which includes Isaiah Crowell, Bilal Powell and former Seattle Seahawks starter Thomas Rawls. For now, Cannon is only worth drafting in fantasy leagues which include individual return yardage.--Daniel Dobish
