3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith is not a starting-caliber fantasy option for the Week 1 matchup against Green Bay. Smith has been notably dealing with a hamstring injury for nearly all of the preseason and didn't appear in the two preseason contests but he enters Week 1 off the injury report. The WR is expected to play a huge role with Michael Thomas due to miss the start of the season after ankle surgery. Nevertheless, it seems apparent Marquez Callaway will enter the season as the team WR1 after a strong showing in the preseason. Smith hasn't posted more than 448 yards in any of three seasons with the Saints, meaning he shouldn't be considered a reliable guy for your fantasy squad. Adding to this, the Packers allowed the fifth-fewest points to fantasy WRs last season, which means Smith is well off the fantasy radar this week.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
