3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith returned to practice on Tuesday. The wideout left practice on August 3rd with a reported leg injury but was back on the field within two weeks. This is an encouraging sign that the WR is trending in the right direction as the regular season approaches. Smith will be expected to shoulder a huge role as the presumed WR1 with Michael Thomas (ankle) out for the beginning portion of the season. The 25-year-old has not proven he can take on a WR1 role though, as he hasn't gotten more than 34 receptions or 448 yards in any of his three NFL seasons. He should be considered in the flex tier for fantasy heading into the 2021 season.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
