3 years agoFormer New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith, who was drafted by Atlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot, will visit the Falcons on Thursday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. The Falcons have also visited with former Cleveland Browns wideout Jarvis Landry and are extremely desperate for pass-catchers with Calvin Ridley suspended for all of 2022. Smith was a third-round pick by the Saints in 2018 and has 112 catches for 1,486 yards and 17 touchdowns on 169 targets in 51 career NFL games. The Falcons also lost Russell Gage to free agency. They'll surely be looking at the position in the draft, as their only receivers on roster right now are Frank Darby, Chad Hansen and Austin Trammell.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
