3 years agoWashington Nationals catcher Tres Barrera hit his first home run of the season against the Miami Marlins Monday while going 2-for-5. He scored two runs in the game. The home run came off of Marlins starting pitcher Ross Detwiler. Barrera is getting the lion's share of at-bats behind the plate with Alex Avila and Yan Gomes out with injuries, and he could be an option for fantasy managers in two-catcher formats if he can keep up his recent success. Barrera has an .882 OPS for the year in 23 at-bats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
