3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders safety Tre'von Moehrig has had an immediate impact during training camp and setting himself up for an impressive rookie season. That impact was on display during a scrimmage with the LA Rams this week when the 25-year-old free safety picked off a Matt Stafford pass just two plays into the day. The TCU product made 47 tackles (two for losses) and two interceptions during his junior year, which was shortened to 10 games in 2020 because of COVID-19. Even with fourth-year player Dallin Leavitt in the mix, Moehrig's camp has him sitting atop the Raiders' depth chart heading into the second weekend of preseason games.--Chelena Goldman
