5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer struck out 12 Royals and earned his sixth win of the season Wednesday. Bauer allowed one run on only three hits and a walk to bounce back after getting roughed up by the Tigers last time out. Bauer threw a whopping 127 pitches today as Terry Francona has made it abundantly clear this season he'll let Bauer work deep into ballgames, a valuable skill not available with most pitchers in fantasy. He'll have his bad starts, but Bauer has now gone at least six innings in seven of his last eight games and is as sure a bet as anyone in fantasy to rack up innings and strikeouts.
