4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer could have his next start pushed back a day, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. The Dodgers are considering the possibility right now in order to give Bauer an extra day of rest, as they would go with a bullpen game on Thursday if they decide to make the move. Bauer was solid in his last start, striking out 10 over seven scoreless innings against the Marlins to improve his season line to 4-2 with a 2.20 ERA and a 35.5 percent strikeout rate in 57 1/3 innings of work. Because this move is just to give Bauer an additional day of rest and is not related to an injury, managers should not be too concerned by the move.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
