5 years agoUpon seeing that manager Terry Francona was walking out to pull him from his start in Kansas City - revolutionary pitch-mechanic and noted Twitter-commando - Trevor Bauer did the most Trevor Bauer thing he could, choosing to throw the baseball over the centerfield fence instead of handing it to Francona. Bauer was pulled after giving up seven earned runs in 4 1/3 innings, on eight hits and four walks.
