5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Trevor Bauer was dominant in a 5-2 win over the Chicago Cubs on Friday. Bauer held Chicago to one run over seven innings while striking out 11 and allowing just five baserunners. The start was a welcome sight after Bauer had failed to get out of the fifth inning in his previous two outings. Bauer earned the win on Friday, improving his record to 10-8 with a 3.74 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 200 strikeouts in 168 1/3 innings of work. The new Red will look for more success in his next start, which comes against the Washington Nationals.--Matt T - RotoBaller
