Trevor Bauer Strikes Out Eight Mariners
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Trevor Bauer looked good in his Tuesday start against the Seattle Mariners. Bauer allowed two runs over 6 1/3 innings of work while striking out eight in the 4-3 loss. He escaped with a no-decision in the contest after departing with his team down 2-1. Bauer has mostly struggled since his trade to the Reds, posting a 1-4 record, 7.40 ERA, and 1.57 WHIP over eight starts. He will look to build upon his recent strong performance in his next start, which will come against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. Arizona has been swinging hot bats of late, making Bauer a risky fantasy option.
