4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Trevor Bauer allowed four runs (one earned) over six innings of work in a 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second game of a Friday doubleheader. Bauer struck out seven and walked two while allowing six hits in the loss. The veteran now has a 3-3 record, 2.05 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts in 44 innings of work for the Reds. He has been one of the better fantasy pitchers in the NL this season, although he has cooled off a bit over his past few starts. Bauer will face the Chicago Cubs in his next start.--Matt T - RotoBaller
