3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates pitcher Trevor Cahill (calf) has been activated off the 10-day injured list on Thursday. He missed three weeks of action due to a left calf strain, but wasn't pitching well before that. Cahill has posted a 6.81 ERA through eight starts and could very well end up pitching out of the bullpen. The organization placed Luis Oviedo (quad) on the 10-day injured list, so no corresponding move is needed to bring Cahill back on the roster. Fantasy managers can go ahead and ignore Cahill until further notice.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
