Trevor Cahill Solid But Takes No-Decision
7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Trevor Cahill had another strong outing in a 3-2 loss to the Mariners on Tuesday. Cahill pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three and walking two. He was cruising until the seventh inning when he made a mistake, which allowed Mike Zunino to hit a two-run shot and get Seattle back in the game. Cahill’s record stays at 1-2 and his ERA is a stingy 2.75 through 36 innings. He will attempt to continue his rejuvenation project in his next outing against the Diamondbacks.
