4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Trevor Cahill bounced back from a rough outing in his last start, striking out eight in five innings of work on Monday night against San Diego. Cahill allowed just one run on three hits and two walks, as he left the game with the score tied 1-1. He looked like a vastly different pitcher in his second start of the year after allowing seven runs on nine hits in four innings against the Reds in his season debut. Managers shouldn't go running out to grab him, but he could be a decent matchup-dependent streaming option going forward.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
