Trevor Cahill Worked Over By Former Team
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Trevor Cahill was knocked around for four earned runs, six hits and a walk with three strikeouts over six innings in a loss in Oakland against his former team on Thursday. He threw 60 of his 86 pitches for strikes, while tossing 18 first-pitch strikes to the 25 batters he faced. It wasn't a horrible outing, but he made two mistakes to Khris Davis and Marcus Simien, and that was the difference with his offense failing to score. He remains a decent AL-only fantasy option heading into his next start in Seattle on April 3 opposite Marco Gonzales.
