7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Trevor Cahill has a couple more starts ahead of him before he potentially takes over a starting gig. Cahill will work three innings in Tuesday’s game at AT&T Park, then he will go to the minor leagues to get in one start in Arizona, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Slusser also hypothesized that if the build-up continues accordingly, Cahill might be in line to take a starting spot on April 11. This is the same day Daniel Gossett would be scheduled to pitch. Cahill is still not worth rostering in mixed leagues.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
