Trevor Lawrence Mediocre In Week 16 Loss
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence went 26-for-39 for 280 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions in his team's 26-21 loss to the New York Jets in Week 16. It was a turnover-free performance, the rookie threw for 280-plus yards for just the third time this season, and he even added 37 rushing yards on the ground, but it still amounted to just 12.9 fantasy points. It's the same old story -- Lawrence is simply too raw to overcome an extremely sub-optimal offensive environment around him at this stage in his career. Even in two-QB formats, fantasy managers shouldn't expect much the rest of the way.
