Trevor Lawrence Solid In Week 5 Loss
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence went 22-for-33 with 273 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the team's Week 5 loss to Tennessee. It was arguably Lawrence's best performance yet, as the rookie also added 28 yards and a score on the ground in the game against a very poor Titans defense. The matchup was exploitable, but it was still encouraging to see Lawrence play a complete game, as he's starting to display the talent that made him the No. 1 overall pick this year. While the Clemson product is clearly trending up, he's still best viewed as a lower-end QB2 with untapped upside at this point in time.
