7 years agoArizona Coyotes defenseman Trevor Murphy scored his first career goal in only his second game on Monday, opening the scoring in a 4-1 win at Tampa. He had two shots in the game, logging 11:04 with a few seconds on the power play as well. The Coyotes have lost Niklas Hjalmarsson and Jason Demers to season-ending injuries, which will give younger blue liners a chance to shine. Murphy, who arrived via a trade with the Predators on deadline day, is impressing already. He'll have six more games to demonstrate his wicked shot.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
