Trevor Rogers Activated And Starting Wednesday

2 years agoThe Miami Marlins activated left-hander Trevor Rogers (back) from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday, and he's starting on the mound against the Tampa Bay Rays. Jake Fishman was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. We don't recommend Rogers for fantasy lineups on Wednesday in his first start in the majors in over a month. The 24-year-old southpaw didn't look good on his minor league rehab assignment, either, until his most recent outing for Triple-A Jacksonville when he struck out 12 in six innings. An All-Star in 2021, Rogers has been disappointing for his fantasy managers this year with a 4-10 record, 5.85 ERA (4.58 FIP), 1.59 WHIP, 83 strikeouts and 41 walks in 87 2/3 innings over 19 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
