2 years agoMiami Marlins left-hander Trevor Rogers (back) is back with the team after he struck out 12 in six hitless and scoreless innings in his latest minor league rehab start last Thursday, and he threw a bullpen session on Sunday. Rogers said he's feeling the best he has, and his spot in the rotation would come up on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. The 24-year-old southpaw was placed on the 15-day injured list on July 29 with lower-back spasms, but he looked like his old self in his latest rehab start. Rogers was an All-Star for the first time in 2021, but he's disappointed this year with a 5.85 ERA (4.59 FIP), a 1.59 WHIP and an 83:41 K:BB in 87 2/3 innings over 19 starts. He'll be a shaky fantasy play on Wednesday against Tampa if he indeed gets the nod.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
