4 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Trevor Rosenthal (groin) is yet to appear in Cactus League action with his new team, but he's been throwing bullpen sessions and manager Bob Melvin said he is scheduled to pitch in Wednesday's game. Rosenthal is the presumed closer for the A's after signing a one-year deal in Oakland this offseason. The 30-year-old righty converted 11 of 12 save chances last season with the Royals and Padres. He was dominant across 23 1/3 innings in 2020 posting a 1.90 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, with a K/BB ratio.
