Trevor Siemian To Have Another Shoulder Surgery
7 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian (shoulder) will undergo surgery on his left shoulder Wednesday, and it will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. Siemian also had offseason surgery on his non-throwing shoulder last year, but the two injuries are unrelated, and this new surgery is to fix a damaged posterior capsule. Siemian's 2017 was much worse than the previous season, as he was benched midway through the year for Brock Osweiler, only to get the starting job back and lose it again due to injury. If Siemian is in serious consideration for the starting gig again in 2018, something went horribly wrong with Denver's QB plans in the offseason. Siemian is a decent backup in the NFL, but he's shown his upside is very limited in a starting role.
