Trevor Story Collects A Pair Of Doubles In Win
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs, and an RBI in a 13-6 win over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. Both of Story's hits were two-baggers, the second one knocked in a run in the bottom of the eighth inning. It's been a relatively quiet season for the former All-Star, who was long expected to be traded away at last week's deadline but ended up staying put in Colorado. He enters Wednesday's action slashing .249/.317/.436 with 12 home runs, 49 RBI, and 17 stolen bases over 344 at-bats. He's got a little under two months to salvage his fantasy season but it's safe to say he's underwhelmed, particularly in the power department, up to this point.
