Trevor Story Continues Massive Offensive Output In 2020
4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is one of the premier offensive assets in the Majors, particularly when playing at Coors Field. While his splits are more drastic this season than in years past, it doesn’t diminish that he clobbers the ball when playing at home. His .608 xSLG and .405 xwOBA rank overall in the top nine percentile of all batters, while his 10.2 BB% and 91.3 MPH average exit velocity are both on pace to set new career highs. With that being said, he embarks upon a seven-game road trip Friday against the Dodgers and D-backs. The DFS market has not adequately adjusted his price thus far in 2020, likely meaning that owners can look elsewhere while Story isn’t at Coors Field. Season-long owners can continue relishing in the pace that the shortstop is on, which would see him posting career highs in numerous offensive categories.
