6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (elbow), who doesn't have structural damage in his right elbow, could return this weekend against the Diamondbacks. He will head to the team's spring training facility in Arizona on Thursday to get more treatment and "maybe do a few baseball activities over there," according to manager Bud Black. Story said he felt a lot better on Wednesday and is "looking forward to the next couple days." The progress is encouraging, but there still remains no exact timetable for Story's return. The great news for the MVP candidate's fantasy owners is that it looks like he'll play again this year. That's also great news for the team's playoff chances.
