4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 2-for-4 with a run scored and was caught stealing in a 2-1 loss to the Mets on Sunday. Story doubled off Marcus Stroman in the seventh inning and came around to score on a Charlie Blackmon single. He also singled in the bottom of the ninth but was caught stealing to end the game. Stroman was dealing all afternoon and the Rockies picked up just three hits off him. Story is now slashing .271/.302/.373 with four doubles, a triple, and five RBI over 59 at-bats. He's still searching for his first home run of the season but he's faced some stingy pitching staffs in the Dodgers and Mets to begin the season. The home runs will start to come in droves very soon.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
